Porta Medina Boutique Hotel (Adults Only) - Heraklion (Crete)

Staying for three nights, I enjoyed the charming space that felt welcoming and warm. The room was spacious, featuring a lovely balcony overlooking a pleasant courtyard, which was a great spot to relax. The central location made it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Historical Museum of Crete and the Venetian Shipyards, both a short stroll away. My only minor issue was some evening noise due to the lively atmosphere of nearby cafes and bars, typical for the area, but that was a small trade-off for such a vibrant location.

Very clean bed in the double room, plus an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. Sensational breakfast with a huge variety of meals.

The location for Heraklion was marvellous, just next door to city center, Close to the interesting city area and many stores and restaurants very near by. Plus, I could reach The Chronaki House just a short walk away from the hotel. The staff was wonderful and lovely, so I would stay here again.

We booked beautifully maintained and huge room with a nice terrace in an affectionate, nice wooden ceiling, charming character. Location in the heart of the city was a plus...

The charming atmosphere, the exquisite decor, the spacious courtyard was good.

The location of the hotel was central, very close to the centre, the best attractions, port area, and amazing restaurants in Heraklion, and various museums. Furthermore, the property was a 10-15 minute walking distance from historic fortress. Units with comfortable beds. Coffee/tea making machines and a fridge were a big plus.

The noise from surrounding nightlife could ruin your relaxation!!! Some rooms lack basic toiletries that you'd expect at this price!!! A little more attention to cleaning procedures would really enhance guest satisfaction!!!

The unique architectural charm of Porta Medina Boutique really stood out. The beautiful restoration of the building. The large front courtyard offered a lovely space to relax. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard. There were some issues. The Wi-Fi connection wasn't consistent, and I expected better amenities, like complimentary toiletries, especially at this price point. The noise from the bustling nightlife nearby was noticeable in the evenings. The host was available and friendly but could have been more present during the morning hours to assist with any needs.
